Ibrahim Uwais, son of a former Chief Justice of the Federation, Mohammed Uwais, who was said to have in 2015 joined the Islamic terror group, the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria, has been reportedly killed near Aleppo in Syria.
Ibrahim was said to have been killed after an airstrike was carried out by the United States targeting known ISIS camps, a report by Sahara Reporters said.

The report said: “A source told our correspondent that the late Ibrahim Uwais, who secretly travelled to Syria in February 2015 to join ISIS, was one of numerous Islamist terrorists who perished as US military aircraft bombarded known ISIS camps near the besieged Syrian city of Aleppo.”
Ibrahim was believed to have departed Nigeria and joined ISIS early in 2015.
